Technigas also supplies many other types of valves including 'Liquid' LPG valves for use in applications where a "liquid take-off" is required such as in gas cylinders for use in Fork Lift Trucks and Air-Balloons.
We have protection caps (dust caps) available for all the valves we supply and more. Our standard caps include those suitable for 20, 21 and 22 mm standard compact butane valves (in a variety of colours), protection plugs with straps for propane POL valves, and 1¼" ACME type caps for ACME liquid take-off valves.
 Our caps for Butane compact valves are quality protection caps. They are available in various colours and come complete with cord. These reuseable caps are designed to take 21 bar cylinder pressure, and the cap prevents any dirt and moisture penetration when no regulator is attached to the valve. To remove the cap from the valve simply pull lightly on the cord and the cap should release.
 Our plugs for Propane POL valves are made of quality materials, are reuseable thanks to the strap that ensures they dont get lost. The strap simply fixes around the valve inlet to keep the plug safe whilst a regulator is in use on the valve. The thoughtful design includes a finger-grip making it easy to turn in either direction (no more screw-drivers!). We currently have available 5/8" BSP POL plugs and straps (for 26 bar cylinder pressure) in red and black. Oh yes and we still have the old-fashioned 'disposable' plugs too which do not feature the straps.
